Hey people!
Today is Saturday. And i woke up at 6.30 a.m to attend the Seminar.
The seminar is compulsory for all IT's second year student.
The seminar was about Open Source Software that the speakers are from MAMPU Company from CyberJaya, Malaysia.
Btw I quite disappointed when knew that the seminar will be held in my Main Campus, which is Auditorium room. Hehe... I wish it's like my last Software engineering seminar that held in hotel. I want the meal! ;p
Anyway the seminar was good and very useful because it's telling us about something that in our daily activity, which is internet.
It's about how we use the open source or maybe they're brainstorming the student to not use free software unless use the OSS.
I knew that we as an IT people have to aware to the entire new software or product that will come because IT world is moving fast. Like windows. After windows 97, 98, 99, 2000 then windows XP continue with vista and just for awhile windows will launch windows 7.
It is just the general OS, which is windows.
We actually have many OS to use, like Linux (that comes in many versions), Mac, SUN, and ubuntu.
One of the speakers say that why are we using windows all the time if there are Linux out there? We have to try Linux because it's very useful when we are in work.
Yeah... why??
Maybe because everybody use windows, so we just know that and shiftless to find out others. Is that true??
He also mention about we should try open office compared with Microsoft office.
Why? It’s because open office is able to open its file in many OS. Besides Microsoft office is just able to open its file in Windows.
Yeah, it was the seminar. And it was bored too.
I felt asleep when the 2nd speakers talking.
Hhehe..
Anyway now I am at home. On Saturday night.
Where is my boyfriend?? Doesn’t he want to date with me on Saturday night??
Of course he wants!! *Maybe*
Where is he???
Wherever he is, maybe I’ll get dressed before he picks me up.
Just prepare ;)
